Our Rustic French Stick and our Hill Rd Sausage Roll each picked up a gold award at this year’s Taste of the West competition.

We’re really pleased to add two more gold awards to our trophy cabinet.  It’s also great to get recognition for two products that are a real labour of love.  The French Stick takes two days to make from start to finish, with the dough left to rest between sheets of linen, and our Sausage Roll is made entirely by hand with an all-butter shortcrust pastry, local sausage meat (from free range pigs) and a local, sticky onion marmalade.  Some things you just can’t rush.
